Craig has over 30 years' experience, of international business, law & policy, most recently as Senior Vice President, Huawei HQ, Shenzhen, China, advising on major global trade and market challenges for Huawei.
His first trip to China was in 1996, for Philips Electronics. Since then, he has travelled continually between Europe, Asia & USA overcoming policy, legal, risk, compliance, & other challenges affecting growth of major technology companies
Craig is a lawyer, advocate, diplomat & negotiator built on experience at 5 of the world’s greatest businesses: Philips Electronics (NL), Huawei (China), Samsung (S.Korea), Xerox (USA) and Clifford Chance LLP, law firm (UK). Craig is Senior Advisor to the International Chamber of Commerce ICC, on strategies to accelerate the business transition to smart, green, digital supply chains which are easier, faster, cheaper and more sustainable.
He is comfortable in European, Asian, American cultures, fluent in French, English, Dutch and conversational Mandarin. His goal is to share this knowledge, expertise & experience with the next generation of entrepreneurs who want to grow businesses, trade & prosperity and achieve a zero-carbon society..............faster.
Previous roles include Vice-President Global Head of Market Access for Philips, VP Head of Europe Public Affairs for Samsung, VP Head Government Relations Europe at Xerox, and SVP Global Public Affairs at Huawei. Craig holds a Degree in English & French Law (Hons) and French Language from the University of Leicester, UK and European Law at Masters' level from the Université de Strasbourg, France, and Business at Cranfield University, UK.
